FuncFiber International Symposium, March 10 - 12, 2008 Print E-mail
A 3-day FuncFiber 2008 International Symposium was held in Umeå between March 10-12, 2008. It addressed cutting edge topics in current wood biology related research, including forest tree genomics and biotechnology, wood biosynthesis and development, and cutting edge techniques in wood research. The meeting attracted about 120 scientists from 20 countries from all continents as well as participants from industry from USA, Brazil, Portugal, New Zealand and Sweden.
